Born in Montreal, Canada, in 1986—a city renowned as a pulsating heart of circus arts—Julien was captivated in 2006 by the entrancing discipline of Slacklining. Seeing the world's budding interest in this balance art, he launched "Slackline Montreal" in 2009, catering to local enthusiasts with tailored products and services, including custom-built slackline and highline performances.By 2018, Julien's artistic inclinations led him to explore Hair Hanging, a profound and enigmatic art with deep roots in ancient Chinese traditions. Merging his expertise in slacklining and highlining with hair suspension, kung fu, and dance styles such as popping, contact improvisation and ecstatic dance, Julien's performances evolved into a mesmerizing tapestry of spontaneous, incredibly unique and meticulously crafted circus art.
